Alyssa Payne is a multi-hyphenate artist best known for her EP, Patiently Waiting, and musical Tik Toks. In the last year, she has been a Write Out Loud Finalist, Johnny Mercer participant, and lyricist for The BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop. An alumni of The Boston Conservatory at Berklee, Alyssa earned her BFA in Musical Theater with an emphasis in songwriting. She was the recipient of the Andrew Lloyd Webber Scholarship through the American Theater Wing, which connected her to mentor, Shaina Taub, who Alyssa recently assisted on Suffs on Broadway.

Inspired by her experiences volunteering with foster care organizations, Alyssa embarked on a mission to create a musical that not only entertains but also raises awareness and sparks inspiration. Through her new musical, F Word, she aims to support and uplift the organizations dedicated to helping children and teens in the foster care system. When she’s not writing music, Alyssa loves to try new foods and explore NYC!

Hi new friend! My name is Alyssa Payne and I am from Atlanta, Georgia. My bio is in the Music Composition slide above so I thought I would just give you a few fun facts down here.

I am in desperate need for a hobby. I started punch embroidery and knitting recently, pretty fun. 8/10.

I need to drink more water, I am very dehydrated.

One of my fav coffee places in the city is Bird and Branch. They have a house made vanilla that is really yummy in a latte.

I can't watch tv or a movie without a little snack to munch on. My go to right now is popcorn and m&m's.
