Alyssa Payne is a multi-hyphenate artist best known for her viral Instagram videos and EP, Patiently Waiting. Since moving to NYC, she has been a Write Out Loud Finalist, Johnny Mercer participant, and lyricist for The BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop. Her music is known for embracing the complexities of modern life, weaving together sharp wit and genuine emotion to create stories that resonate with today's audiences. Alyssa developed her original one woman show, “Extra Crispy” at Forestburgh Playhouse (Into The Woods Into The Works festival) and recently debuted it at Joe's Pub. An alumni of The Boston Conservatory at Berklee, Alyssa earned her BFA in Musical Theater with an emphasis in songwriting. She was the recipient of the Andrew Lloyd Webber Scholarship through the American Theater Wing, which connected her to mentor, Shaina Taub, who Alyssa assisted with Suffs on Broadway. ​When she’s not writing music, Alyssa loves to try new foods and explore NYC! ​​
